Volleyball

Well its that time of year again...Volleyball...You know how football players are called the Boys of Fall or something like that well us, volleyball players, are knowns as the girls of fall. We play about 30-40 matches a year! Goodness we have already played 5, in the past two days! Don't really care about Volleyball, Softball is where it is at! SOFTBALL IS BETTER THAN VOLLEYBALL.

Alright, you all know I am a big Texas Rangers fan! HUGE!! Anyways Fox Southwest has a commercial where they tell you who the Rangers play, and what time. This is usually what they say..."watch Michael Young and the rest of the Texas Rangers try to get by the daunting Red Sox" or something like that. Anyways they have this song in the background called Breathe. The song is by a guy named Ryan Star. So I looked it up on youtube, and guess what??!?! the song just happened to be free on iTunes today!!! OHMY!! YESSS!! God really does love me.

Rangers Update

Here is the low-down on the Rangers as of late....

60-43...only 32 victories away from that awesome number 92

Jarrod Saltalamacchia (C) traded to the Red Sox for Roman Mendez and Chris McGuiness, two minor leaguers....didn't care for Salty too much after he started sucking it up.

Ryan Tatusko (P) and Tanner Roak (P) traded to the Nationals for Cristian Guzman (IF). This one really ticked me off because our farm system is slowly disappearing with all of our pitching prospects being traded. Plus, Ry-Ry was my favorite minor leaguer :(

Mitch Moreland brought up, Chris Davis back down :(

Evan Reed (P) and Omar Poveda (P) are traded to the Marlins for Jorge Cantu (IF), don't really know too much on Evan and Omar, but don't really care for Cantu. Heck, he played with the Marlins, what can he do?!

Ian Kinsler on the DL...so sad...Kinsie get better for me please!

Putting on your happy face.

This is me and one of my closest friends. That night I was happy. Today I am not happy. Its not that I am "BooHoo" sad, or "Pissed off" mad. It is just I have no emotion. I feel nothing. And this feeling of nothingness as gotten me into a heck of a problem. When you see someone you haven't seen in a while, you are suppose to be happy. Well if you can guess where I am going, I felt nothing when I saw her. Of course she didn't know that because I put on my happy face. She thought I was excited to see her, my best friend. I wasn't. She basically ignored me all night, I ignored her too. She had other friends she had to hang out with. Oh and her new boyfriend, which I think is hilarious. We always told each other once we get a boyfriend it won't damper our relationship. Well...i feel damp. Plus, she didn't even tell me she had started dating him, my sister had to tell me. MY SISTER. I post something on FB about this, and of course look who sends me a text message. Miss BFF. This is what the message read: "hey! Guess what?" My answer: "You are going out with ********" Her answer: "Yep". Here is where I get into a problem..My answer "oh, weird" Her: "uhmm, ok?" Me: "i just think its weird how you can go one day not liking someone and the next you are dating." Her:"things changed".
