Well it is a start of a new year, I am going into the 9th grade. Yes, I am scared to go that first day, but I know I have many friends there, but the most important friend I have is God. He will be with me through everything I go through the next four years and longer. I have recently made the freshmen volleyball team, yes I am dissappointed not to make JV, but I know I will get better, and that I have many friends on freshmen team. I would also say congrats to Sydney! She made Varsity as a freshman! Yippee! On a sadder note :(...yes there has to be one of these. My best friend and I have not been on the right page as of late. Since we have started playing volleyball again, we have not had time to hang together that much. This past Wednesday, she did something that literally broke my heart to pieces, then later that night I hade to break my heart again. We talked a couple days later, and she said she did not know what she did. I forgave her, and I thought all was great. Today, though, we had volleyball scrimmages, and she did not smile at me once...I literally got nothing from her except, "Kristen, you are all sweaty." I hope as the next few years come and go, we will be there for each other. As of the first few days of high school have started, I can see that will probably not happen.

Well looking at the title of my post you are probably wondering what did she do? Well I did not do anything! I currently listening to OOPS...I DID IT AGAIN! By Britney Spears! Very Good song by the way! Well I had softball practice earlier, and my coach threw me on first! I was messing around and said Hey guys! I am going to pull a Chris Davis! If you do not know who CD (Chris Davis) is the first baseman for the TX Rangers! A lot of the time he does the splits AND catches the ball! Anyways, the girl hit it to Kortni and BAM!! I did the splits AND caught the ball! WOW! Plus, it did not even hurt!

Right now, I am in English. I finished my PowerPoint on Helen Dunmore. She is a poet that is still alive! Wow! I know, weird? Stevie is in front of me rocking out to his iPod. That is also weird, but hey I will get over it! Rangers lost last night 4-0. This is their 9th straight loss playing in Detroit! 9th!!! They just can not win in Detroit for some reason! Whatever, lets just hope the Tigers do not sweep the Rangers! The Rangers are still ahead in the AL South or something like that! I am not quite sure! Hayden is running around showing people a snake he found on an Email.

My Rangers!!

I have just recently become a hug fan of the Texas Rangers! I have always been a fan of them, but this year they are something to watch! Right now, I am watching their game vs the detroit tigers. Rangers are losing 4-0...not good....anyways I have four main men on the team the list goes like this:
1. Derek Holland
2. Ian Kinsler
3. Josh Hamilton
4. Jarrod Saltalamacchia

Derek Holland is my favorite because he is a left handed pitcher, and I had a conversation with him! He is really nice and cute! Too bad, Hannah beat me at a game and took him!

Ian Kinsler is one mighty fine second baseman! He is another all around good guy! He is married and has a child (I think, yea he does). I got him for my "husband"! I seriously do not mind!

Josh Hamilton is one of those stories that make you cringe but smile at the same time! He came back from the lowest of the lows to the highest of highs! I am so thankful he found Christ and is leading his life towards Him!

Jarrod Saltalamacchia is the best catcher ever! He is jsut so good at it! He is only a rookie at catching too! He has gone through so much maturity over the past few years! He is awesome!

Wow! What can I say about my church? Oh, Oh, I know!! I knoww!! Yes, you in the back...........Everything!!! My church is awesome I love it!
We have an awesome youth group! We all so love each other so much!! Let me see if I can list the core youth (Mr. Hopkins called it this): Austin D, Jordan H, Hannah H, Hunter G, Hayden G, Jordan V, The Careys, Me, Carli W, Garrett C, Chandler O, and if there is any more I am so sorry I forgot! Drill Team

WOW!! Congrats to all of my friends and the others who made Caddo Mills High School Drill Team! They worked so hard for weeks to get these positions! They are all deserving!

There Will be A day

There will be a day with no more tears no more pain, no more fears there will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more! We will see Jesus face to face! But until that day we hold on to You always!

This is my favorite Jeremy Camp song! Of course, it is called There WIll be a Day. We don't know when, but thank God there will be a day, when we get to see Jesus come down and make his Kingdom here on Earth! We all will bow down, and lay our crowns at his feet (thanks tenth for that line hehe)! Still, we are so undeserving of his love! I have no clue why he loves us! Most of the time, we do stuff so far from right. He probably should stop loving us! But, NO! HE will always love us, even some of us are Athiast or Muslim. We will all see him one day! We have to go through pain first, but its worth it in the end! We will be able to be with our One and Only! The Kings of Kings! The North Star! The Chorus of Angels singing we will hear! And we will give him glory and lift up our hands!

Taking 5!

Ok, I just saw this movie about an hour ago, and it is a great movie! The Click 5 as 5 Leo Rise, to all the other characters overall an awesome movie! I personally did not like the ending to well! They should have kicked the romance between devon and ritchie more! Oh and Gabby and Mason, not The sister and Scooter! Err that made me mad! But hey, I got to see them kiss!! Ok, my favorite character was Ritchie who was played by the most wonderful Eric Dill! He is the guy at the top!! He is a wonderful actor and singer! Too bad he parted ways with Click 5! They are not as good as they once were! All in all, this is an awesome movie and everybody needs to see it!

I just love dogs. Ever since I was really little, I also wanted a dog! I have a lot of dogs all of my life, but right now I do not have one. I really want one though! Its weird I am a dog person, but I have a cat. Hmm?

Well today has been a super long day! Dad wants me to take my medicine! Blah, don't like that stuff! Anyways, today we had TAKS test at school. Let me tell you, Hate is a strong word, but I think I hate the TAKS test. Goodness!! That thing is just the most boringest thing you could! Well luckily after school today it was my sister's Rachael's birthday (sorry if I did not spell that write I always forget)! She turned 8! Let me back up a bit. Rae is not my "real" sister, she is my best friend's sister. We just spend so much time together, that we consider ourselves a family! I love them so much! They are my family! She was so happy today! SHE was crazy!! But what's new??

My journey

Right Now in my life, I have just accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour almost 2 months ago! My life has made a dramatic turn around (for the good)! He has shown me there are other ways than the "normal way"! How I found Him is through my Best Friend Hannah! She brought me to church one day, and a few weeks later I found Him! Who would have known that he would be right there waiting for me?! I did not know that until I found him! Jesus Christ is My Lord and Saviour Forever and Ever!

Jeremy Camp, MercyMe, Tenth Avenue North, Hawk Nelson and Addison Road were all there! They are so inspirational! They follow Jesus Christ and they put themselves out there! My favorites were Jeremy Camp, MercyMe, and Tenth Avenue North! They were all awesome! I got a Jeremy Camp shirt that says I will walk by faith and not by sight!
